METRIN products DO NOT contain salicylates.

Salicylates are chemicals found naturally in plants and are a major ingredient in aspirin and other pain relieving medications. They are also found in many fruits (e.g. apples, blueberries) and vegetables (e.g. spinach, cucumber, broccoli), as well as many common health and beauty products for the purpose of dealing with acne, skin exfoliation, and overall blood circulation.

Salicylates may be the cause of irritation and allergic responses by the skin, and they may also trigger already existing skin conditions (eg. rosacea, acne)
